It is paramount that we apply the upmost dedication to
protecting the local culture of the Mentawaian people. We intend to
create an economic blueprint that will assist the local population
to prosper in ways that elevate their standard of living without
sacrificing the beauty of their culture by imposing an entirely
western approach.
We have secured a high level of Government support in theregion
because we are providing the following local infrastructure:
- Hospitality School - providing subsequent jobs for the
locals
- Medical clinics throughout the region - headed by western
doctors but training local Mentawaian doctors
- Airport & Boat Harbour
- A specific policy for supporting local schooling & further
education
- Refuelling facilities
- Expansion of the Cellular phone network
- Harbour Master facilities
