PT Onu Mentawai International (PT OMI) is one of the five
companies now holding a Tourism license. All of our land locations
have been included in OMI's license and consequently OMI has
exclusive rights to the breaks which fall within 1,000 metres of
each location.
In the foreseeable future we do not intend to enforce this
exclusivity for our guests as we believe we should endeavour to
work with all of the licensed tourism operators in the region in
order to share the waves appropriately.
Please respect the environment and follow PT OMI staff
instructions with respect to rubbish disposal, toilet waste
disposal, bilge water disposal and the use of motorized water craft
within the buffer zone.
