Communications
Katiet Vilas is equipped with satellite
telephone / fax /internet facilities plus base-to-base VHF radio
networks. All of our Surf Transfer Boats are equipped with VHF
radios.

Environmental Issues
Our Environmental Consultant, Jess Ponting, has been
instrumental in laying the environmental benchmarks for our
development plans. In compliance with Jesss guidance, we have
adopted modern techniques for recycling of both brown & grey
water, together with water purification.
All sewerage passes through a bio-cycle unit and is converted
back to fresh water for use on the gardens and vegetation.
We also shred plastics, plastic bottles etc and use this
shredded plastic as reinforcement in cement bricks. This process is
being taught and encouraged within the local communities to assist
in elimination of plastic rubbish.
All waste that is recyclable is recycled.

Power
Initially, the villas are powered via diesel powered generators,
with our ultimate goal of converting to a more energy efficient
power system of solar and/or wave power.

There's a wide variety of food options
available for breakfast, lunch and dinner which incorporate a
